Employee Bank Details store where an employee's net pay should be sent. BoviHR may support one or more bank records per employee, depending on setup.
Some companies split an employee's salary across multiple accounts.
Practical Example
An employee wants 70% of net pay sent to checking and 30% sent to savings. Add both bank accounts and set the salary allocation percentage for each account.
When To Review Bank Details
Review bank details when:
- A new employee is added.
- Bank file export has missing employees.
- An employee changes bank accounts.
- Net pay should be split across multiple banks.
Common Mistakes
- Missing bank account before payroll export.
- Allocation percentages do not total 100%.
- Old bank details remain active.
- Employee bank template does not match the export bank.
