What Employee Payslip History Does

Employee Payslip History lets employees view their own payslips from the employee portal or staff payroll menu, depending on permissions.

Employees can only see payslips that belong to them and that are available based on company payroll status rules.

When Employees Use This

Employees use Payslip History when they need to:

  • Review current or past pay.
  • Download a payslip.
  • Provide proof of earnings.
  • Check deductions.
  • Confirm net pay.

Why A Payslip May Not Be Visible

A payslip may not be visible to an employee if:

  • Payroll has not been finalized.
  • Payroll Status does not allow employee visibility yet.
  • The employee does not have the correct portal permission.
  • The payslip was deleted or corrected.
  • The employee is searching the wrong period.

Practical Example

An employee needs a payslip from March for a loan application.

The employee logs in, opens Payroll or Payslip History, selects the March period, opens the payslip, and downloads or prints it.

If the payslip is not visible, the employee should contact HR or payroll to confirm whether the payslip has been released.

Common Mistakes

  • Assuming employees can see draft payroll.
  • Telling employees to use admin Payslip History.
  • Releasing payslips before approval is complete.
  • Forgetting role permissions for employee payroll access.
