When To Use Draft Review V2

Use Draft Review V2 when:

• Payroll needs to be reviewed before payment.
• A company wants to check gross pay, deductions, taxes, and net pay.
• Payroll includes many employees and may need background processing.
• Finance or HR needs a review file before approval.
• AI payroll review is enabled and should be used for anomaly checks.

Basic Steps

1. Open Payroll Review V2.
2. Select the payment period or date range.
3. Apply filters if needed.
4. Run the review.
5. Wait for results or background processing to finish.
6. Review totals and employee rows.
7. Investigate unusual values.
8. Correct payroll setup, time entries, or payroll items as needed.
9. Rerun Draft Review if corrections were made.
10. Proceed to Make Payment V2 when payroll is ready.

Practical Example

Finance wants to review payroll before payment. The payroll administrator runs Draft Review V2 for January 1 to January 15. One employee has an unusually high deduction. Payroll opens the employee record, corrects the deduction, reruns Draft Review, and only then proceeds to Make Payment V2.

AI Payroll Review

If AI Payroll Review is enabled, it can help identify unusual payroll values or possible issues. AI review should support human review, not replace it.

Always verify AI findings against the employee record, payroll items, time entries, and payroll settings.
